patientMpower presented at the Artificial Intelligence Health2.0 Dublin chapter meetup hosted in January by Google and Verily. Eamonn Costello outlined the Machine Learning process patientMpower is employing in ‘cleaning’ and ‘training’ a real world spirometry data set. These data are contained within patientMpower’s “digital biobankTM“, which contains over 3 million Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) data points including thousands of Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) data points.
patientMpower is working with key clinical experts validating our hypothesis that home Pulmonary Function Testing (PFTs) can be used to detect exacerbations or significant declines in FVC in IPF patients. Typically IPF patients get clinic PFT measurements every three to six months. patientMpower’s IPF solution allows patients to track their lung function between these appointments.
