September is a global month long campaign to help raise awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis, aid timely diagnosis and help patients with pulmonary fibrosis to get the treatment and care that they need.
This is our second Pulmonary Fibrosis chat of the month – & we’re delighted to be joined by Emmy award winner Mike Olsen.
Mike Olsen is from Louisville Kentucky and is an idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) warrior, diagnosed in 2014.
Mike works tirelessly to raise awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis, creating “The Mike Olsen Project” and the Emmy winning “I’m Dying Will You Help“.
Mike reaches out to celebrities and politicians to raise awareness, also working locally to improve the air quality in Kentucky

Gilbert Corsey is the newscaster who followed Mike for one year and won the Emmy Award and shared it with Mike since it was Mike’s story. Mike was able to address the Emmy crowd and educate them about this terminal lung disease.
