patientMpower, the makers of an app for patients to help manage their Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) treatment are looking for volunteers from the PF Warrior community in Texas to try out a new electronic health diary ‘app’ to see if it is useful for people with lung fibrosis to monitor their health.
If you take part in the study you will download an “app” to your mobile phone or tablet device (like an iPad).
It works on most apple and android devices. You will be asked to use the app to record your various health measurements regularly, and you will be given a spirometer as part of the study to help monitor your lung function.
Here is an example video of testing your lung function with the app, and an example of how you can use the app to record observations about your health. You can also read about more of the features of the app here.
If you or someone you care for have been diagnosed with IPF and are interested in taking part, please complete this form and we’ll email you with more details about how to take part.
