How we got here
Founded in 2015, our award winning remote monitoring solutions are deployed in a range of pulmonary conditions – pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis, lung transplant and now COVID-19. Last February, we saw the COVID-19 pandemic unfolding around the world and specifically how hospitals in countries such as Italy were dealing with a sudden influx of patients and hospital bed shortages. The patientMpower team realised that the tools that we have developed for other lung diseases could be applied to the COVID-19 crisis. We acted quickly and in just two weeks developed a new innovative application for COVID-19, enabling healthcare staff to manage patients remotely preserving vital hospital resources at this time of crisis. Our solutions for lung conditions have also been used to allow healthcare teams to continue to provide care for these vulnerable patient groups, without the need to attend hospital. As a result, patientMpower has more than tripled in size since March 2020.
Why rebrand now?
patientMpower now provides new solutions and new functionality to an increasingly greater number of clinicians and patients, in more condition types, across more and more countries. Our old brand no longer represents who we are as a company or where we want to be. We have made it our purpose to grow with intention as an organisation and as a team. Our brand refresh will continue to commit to you, our customers in providing the same, or better, level of professionalism and support you have experienced and we’d like to take the opportunity to thank our customers and business partners for your trust in patientMpower.
About our new brand ID
Our rebrand encompasses the evolution of patientMpower since its founding in 2015. While this is a significant visual change, our core beliefs as a company stay the same. We are a caring, patient-focused organisation, offering industry-leading, specialised solutions to support medical professionals and chronic condition patients as we enter a new age of healthcare.
Our new logo represents two themes that are really important to us as an organisation, concepts which are shaping the future of healthcare. patientMpower is proud to be contributing to the digital transformation in health, represented as a crossroads in our new logo, which we believe will democratise healthcare, empowering better outcomes for patients and health systems. The second theme is the personalisation of healthcare, represented by a fingerprint, a symbol of the unique healthcare needs of different people, and how patientMpower’s solutions can personalise their care.
Our rebrand timeline
Today, we launch Phase I of our rebrand. In this phase, we are implementing our new brand ID across our internal, online and customer facing channels.
Phase II will include the launch of a brand-new website and the implementation of our brand ID onto our clinician-facing portal.
Phase III will conclude our rebranding project by implementing our new brand ID across all patient-facing applications.
